we ♥ community.

what does this mean? it means we are offering space to local not-for-profit organizations to engage with our community and share their message. applications are open, and is open to not-for-profit organizations and charities in southern alberta.

organizations must align with the block parties views and values. please contact us if you have more questions.

intertwined within the kids’ zone at the west end of 3rd avenue, our community tables will be given the opportunity to educate and engage our community members. are you looking to recruit volunteers or members? have an event coming up? just looking for community outreach? we are your solution. please note there are very limited spaces available and organizations are responsible for their own setup, including tent (if desired, we highly recommend you have one), table, chair, and all other items needed for their booth. please note there is no access to wifi or power. spaces are free and only available to not-for-profits/charities.

FAQs

  • community tables will share a space with the kids’ zone happening in downtown lethbridge, ab - it will take place on the west end of 3rd avenue

  • this one-day event is on saturday, june 15th, 2024 from 12-4pm.

  • there is no fee to have a community table at 6th street block party.

  • vendors can begin setup as early as 10am. vehicles are permitted to be driven to table/booth location (for unloading) until 11am. the festivities officially get underway at 12pm - vendors are expected to be ready for opening time.

  • our community and kids zones will close at 4pm. the market closes at 6pm. entertainment, beer gardens, and food trucks will be open until 10pm.

  • no! this is a free public event for our community and all ages are welcome!

  • we will do our best to ensure we don’t have multiple organizations with the same mission.

  • though we would love to offer more, we are still a new event so we have limited resources. organizations are responsible for their own booth set up, including: tent (if applicable), table, chairs, and all other items needed for their booth. no wifi or power is available.

  • this event goes rain or shine so make sure you come prepared.
