we’ve got a bit of an update for you.

after a lottttt of back and forth behind the scenes (seriously... a lot), we’ve made the really tough decision to press pause on 6th Street Block Party for this summer.
trust us, this wasn’t an easy call.

this event has always been a huge labour of love for our team and something we pour a ton of time, energy, emails, creativity, chaos, and probably an unhealthy amount of caffeine into each year. but after a few wild summers of making the magic happen, we knew we just didn’t have it in us to give the event the full block party treatment it deserves.

and what’s a block party without the full block party treatment? exactly.

so instead of forcing it, we’re taking summer 2026 as a hiatus year to rest, regroup, and figure out what the future of this event looks like.

we know this is disappointing news and honestly, we’re bummed too.

6th Street Block Party means a lot to us, and seeing downtown filled with local vendors, food, music, kids, community groups, and all you party people has been something really special. thank you for supporting us, showing this event so much love over the years and for helping turn our downtown streets into one very good time ❤️

this isn’t necessarily goodbye... just a see ya later while we sort some things out.
